ACADEMIC ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Australian universities follow NOOSR guidelines-
(National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition-is an Australian government agency who provides assessments as to the educational level of an overseas qualification).

- Pathway programs are offered at undergraduate & postgraduate level to the students who are unable to meet direct entry requirements of universities.
PRIMARY VISA HOLDER
Once the course has started, student visa holders can work 20 hours per week till their academic session is in progress, and there is no limit to when academic session is not in progress. Students enrolled in Masters or Doctoral programs do not have any limits on their work duration.
Work which is a mandatory part of your course is not included in the 20 hours per week limitation.
FAMILY MEMBERS GRANTED PERMISSION TO WORK
- A family member can work only after the commencement of study of a primary student visa holder.
- A family member can work up to 40 hours per fortnight at all times unless the primary visa holder has started a course towards a master or doctoral degree, in that case, there is no limit on working hours of a family member.
FORTNIGHT
A fortnight is a period of 14 days starting on any Monday and ending on the second following Sunday.

You may take part in volunteer work outside of the 40 hours per fortnight work limitation Here volunteer describe as-
