The education system in Canada comprises of publicly-funded as well as private schools, including: community colleges/ technical institutes, career colleges, language schools, secondary schools, summer camps, universities and university colleges.

The Post-Graduation Work Permit Program allows students who have graduated from a participating Canadian post-secondary institution to gain valuable Canadian work experience.
- Part-time work : Off campus 20 hours per week
- 40 Hours per week during vacation. No limit for on campus work
Students can get a work permit, under the Post-Graduation Work Permit Program, for the duration of their course, up to a maximum of three years. It will not be valid for longer than the student’s course, and the course must be of longer than eight months.
